NORTH Cotswold schools have been celebrating after pupils turned in an excellent set of A-Level results this year.
Students at the Cotswold School in Bourton improved on last year's results with 67% of results being at A, B or C grades, much to the delight of headteacher Anne Holland.
"I'm really, really thrilled," she said, adding: "What it reflects is a massive amount of hard work on the part of the pupils and the teachers."
Chipping Norton School headteacher Richard Graydon was equally happy after his sixth formers gained pass grades in 106 of the 108 exams taken, with nearly 30% gaining As or Bs.
Chipping Campden School headteacher Jeff Price said: "We are very pleased. They have exceeded our expectations." Just over 60% of his pupils gained the top three grades and 96.7% achieved passes.
