LONGDON Church-women's Fellowship held their summer garden party on Wednesday, July 26, at The Laurels, Longdon.
The views of the Malvern Hills were much enjoyed on what started out as a fine summer evening. Excellent food was served and our thanks go to the committee who prepared it and worked so hard to make this such a successful occasion.
Bridge Builders enjoyed an outing to the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury, to watch the Gospel Rocky's Millennium Tour, performed by members of the Church Armenia. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and to add to their pleasure each child received a party bag including a stick of rock with 'Jesus' written all the way through the centre.
This Sunday (August 20) the service at St Mary's Church takes place at 6.30pm in the evening.
