DROITWICH Cricket Club teenage batting sensation James Thomas enjoyed a memorable week.
On Saturday, the 16-year-old left-hander scored his second century in a week for senior teams and continued what has been a prolific season.
He had already scored nine half-centuries for the U16s and men's teams.
Following his 119 for the Thirds against Romsley last Saturday and Sunday's knock of 44 against Attock, James put the opposition bowling to the sword for the second week in succession by blazing 130 for the Spa Second XI against Chaddesley Corbett at St Peter's Fields.
His innings seemingly put Droitwich in control of the match and, with the help of Brian Gunston's 54, enabled skipper Graeme Wright to declare after 44 overs with the score on 253-2.
Chaddesley's Mole had other ideas and he finished one short of a deserved century as the visitors snatched victory by six wickets with a ball to spare.
