GREAT news for bowlers. The pavilion on the Lickey Hills which was burned down in a suspected arson attack last year is set to be rebuilt.
Northfield Park and Grasshoppers play their games on the green, off Rose Hill.
After lengthy negotiations with Bromsgrove District Council and Birmingham City Council, permission has finally been granted to rebuild the pavilion starting this month.
Both clubs play in the Big Crown Bowling League.
League secretary Colin Mortiboys said: "It has been a long road but there is light at the end of the tunnel."
