DROITWICH people will be able to go to the theatre for free this weekend.
Talia Theatrum will perform The Duel tomorrow at 1.30pm, with a repeat performance two hours later, in the Lido Park.
To publicise the performance, arranged by Wychavon District Council, members of the troupe will be going into the town in the morning to meet the public.
The Duel is an action-packed swash-buckling production meant for all the family - a tale of love and betrayal.
"This is a great opportunity to see a fun piece of theatre for free," said Wychavon's leisure officer Sue Healey. "It's one of many events that we have planned for the parks over the summer.
"We suggest you take the whole family along with a picnic and make the most of the nice weather."
More information on Wychavon's summer programme of events in the parks is available on a leaflet from the council's One Stop Shops in Droitwich, Evesham and Pershore. Events are also listed on the Wychavon website at www.wychavon.gov.uk
