HOW can Malvern Hills District Council afford £34,000 (Malvern Gazette, July 28) to install yet another water feature/sculpture, this time on the corner of Hampden Road and Worcester Road in Malvern Link yet will not subscribe to the Sunday afternoon Brass Band Concerts in Priory Park which provide pleasure for all (Malvern Gazette, July 27).
Which would a Malvern Hills District Councillor prefer? An afternoon sat in a T-junction, ingeniously sited for young children, or one such afternoon regaled in Priory Park.
Do these councillors represent our wishes or is there a conspiracy afoot between the narrow representation of town councillors and sculptresses?
