MALVERN Ramblers Cricket Club held their annual inter company cricket sixes recently.
The tournament ran all day with numerous interruptions for (what a surprise) RAIN!
Eight companies entered the competition, which was eventually won in the fading light by OPM.
Club chairman Ian Dovey presented the trophy and commemorative wine goblets to the jubilant OPM captain Ron Gibbs and his team pictured along with the trophy.
The event is held annually and is open to all local companies but unfortunately is restricted to eight teams, to enter costs only £100 which includes cricket and an all day long buffet and a bar-b-que, with all the proceeds going towards fund raising for the club.
Congratulations to OPM on winning this year's sixes.
The winning side consisted of Clive Cullen, Antony Long and Malcolm Knapper; front, Richard Cullen, Ron Gibbs (captain) and Nick Wood.
