MALVERN'S Tracey Moseley took the gold medal at the RAV Four National Mountain Bike Downhill Championships in Innerleithen, Scotland.
Moseley, having recently graduated from university, was confident after her well-earned win at the European Championships last week.
She took gold in three minutes, 52 seconds, 11 seconds clear of second placed Mortimer.
Moseley said: "Part of the reason I've ridden well this year has been because I haven't put any pressure on myself because of my exams and university commitments.
"I was also confident from last week's win, but pushed it a bit too far and fell off, but got back on and blasted the last section and won, that's what I came for."
