THE story of the life of the 'Swedish Nightingale', Jenny Lind, is being taken to Hereford by its Malvern creators.
The Jenny Lind Story, presented by Malvern's Morwenna Byram Wigfield, was performed at Malvern College's St Edmund's Hall in November.
Now it is being taken to St John's Methodist Church, in Hereford, on Tuesday (August 22) as part of the Three Choirs Fringe Festival.
Malvern soprano Susan Black, who has recently returned from a South African tour with the Lydbrook Silver Band, from the Forest of Dean, will again sing in the production. David Byram-Wigfield will narrate.
Lind is one of the area's most famous figures, building a remarkable singing career which brought her international fame.
In the latter part of her life she lived at Wynd's Point at British Camp.
The Hereford concert is at 7.30pm and tickets are £6.50 on the door.
