EXPRESS played their second pre-season friendly against their higher-graded opponents Nelson, who play in the Worcester Sunday premier division, and came away with an excellent 3-1 win.

Express made a poor start and found themselves one down after only two minutes but fought back and equalised in the 41st minute when the impressive Matt Clifford scored with a delightful chip from ten yards following good work by Alan Preece and Stacy Cole.
The visitors started the second half full of running and took the lead when former Nelson player Phil Hunt scored with a powerful strike from fully 35 yards out.
Express wrapped up the game in the 87th minute when Hunt played a delightful ball through for Andy Coulthard to net from eight yards out.
This was a good all-round performance from Express with 18-year-old Matt Clifford being man of the match.
On Sunday Express play their final friendly away to Upton Sports. Players meet 9.30am at The Express.
