AFTER reading so much about the poor service at the A&E Department at Worcester Royal Infirmary, I thought it was about time someone gave it, and the staff, some praise.

I am a motorcycle instructor, working from Skellerns, in Sidbury, Worcester, and while teaching last Thursday I was stung by a bee or wasp.

As a result, I went into an anaphylaxis shock and was in quite a bad way.

I was taken to the A&E department where I can only describe my treatment as excellent. I was seen very quickly and treated immediately.

I would like to thank, through your paper, Dr Dixon and the nursing staff for the way I was treated.

MARTIN LAMBERT,

Worcester.
