WE enjoyed the article in the Thursday, August 3, edition of the Evening News about the hedgehog homes being built on Severn Trent properties.
A few of these dotted about will ensure a rapid drop in the number of slugs and snails.
Many people like to provide hedgehog nesting boxes in their garden. You need to make sure there is a quiet corner with plenty of dry grass and leaves for bedding. Then start making your nesting box.
If you want instructions send us a stamped, sel- addressed envelope and 20p and we will send you a leaflet.
If you don't already have a hedgehog house in your garden and would like one, we supply ready-made boxes through our Hogalogue, along with a large number of other hedgehog gifts (for humans and hedgehogs).
For a free copy of the Hogalogue and information about the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, send an A5 stamped, self-addressed envelope to the address below.
