CONCERNS have been raised after a man offered a young girl a sweet as she rode past on her bike.
The 10-year-old was making her way along Resolution Way in Stourport-on-Severn, when she saw the man in a car which she described a "muddy reddy brown" colour. It also had a lot of rusty patches.
Police believe it may have been a G-registered Cavalier saloon car.
The driver offered her a sweet but she declined the offer and rode off.
"She wasn't invited into the car or subject to any inappropriate comments," said a spokesman for Kidderminster police.
The man is described as white, around 40-years-old, with brown hair with a bald patch, and he was wearing a shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on the incident, which took place at 4.40pm on Sunday, should call Kidderminster police on 01562 820888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
