KIDDERMISNTER Harriers will be without midfielder Paul Webb for tonight's Worthington Cup first round first leg clash against Walsall at the Bescot Stadium (7.45pm).
The former Bromsgrove Rovers campaigner suffered a ankle injury during Saturday's 2-0 Nationwide League Division Three defeat at Scunthorpe.
Defender Steve Pope, who has recovered from Achilles tendon trouble, is set to take his place in the squad.
Webb is undergoing treatment and is expected to be fit in time to face Halifax Town in a league clash at Aggborough on Saturday.
Harriers boss Jan Molby said there were a few other injury niggles, but nothing serious enough to keep them out of tonight's difficult test against a Walsall side that has opened their second division campaign with 3-2 victories at Rotherham and at home to Oldham.
Molby said: "People readily admit that Walsall are stronger this year than they were last season when they were in the First Division, so it going to be a tough game for us.
"They have made a good start to their Second Division campaign with two good wins and six goals already.
"But it's a good game for us -- to pitch ourselves against somebody like Walsall so quickly after our first defeat is great.
"If we were to lose we can still put it right at Aggborough".
Saddlers boss Ray Graydon said: "We could not have had a tougher first round tie.
"Kidderminster are on a high after a marvellous season, and Jan has added some good players since they joined the football league.
"They have just pushed the boat out to sign Ian Bogie.
"So their team and supporters will be in buoyant mood and wanting to do well against local opposition."
Kidderminster: Clarke, Clarkson, Hinton, Smith, Stamps, Pope, Bennett, Horne, Ducros, Foster, Hadley, Bird, Shail, Bogie, Corbett, Brock.
