BROMSGROVE Town cruised to a comfortable 4-0 victory at The Castle in this Bromsgrove Advertiser/Messenger District League Div-ision Three match.
The back line of Stuart Eades, Peter Frost and Adam Pinches and keeper Matthew Nind showed the same form which made them one of the league's meanest defences last year.
Opening exchanges were fairly even but Darren Turk opened Town's account in the 21st minute, dribbling his way through before slotting home inside the near post. He nearly increased Town's lead minutes later, but shot narrowly wide.
Much of the play was scrappy and it was not until Town had opened a two-goal cushion, when James McLeod curled a free kick round the wall, that the visitors relaxed and played their more accustomed passing game.
Further goals from Scott Gaffney and McLeod completed the comprehensive win.
