THIS was Bromsgrove Labour FC's first league win for more than a season and they did it in style.
The homes side's ability to finish was the deciding factor as they ran out 8-0 winners against The Chequers in the Bromsgrove Advertiser/-Messenger District Football League Division Four.
Gareth Williams finished off after an early free kick and two goals from Paul Minett before half time settled Labour.
They turned up the heat in the second period as Minett added his third and Andy Whitehouse punished defensive errors for the fifth.
A goal from Trevor Reilly and two more from Minett finished off newcomers Chequers who also had many chances.
