IWRITE in response to the letter from John Tulip (Advertiser, August 9) complaining about the support for Studley bypass.
I live on the A435 and the traffic does not only affect the residents of this road but the whole of Studley.
Maximum length juggernauts can represent about 10 per cent of the traffic through the village, which can be proved by any traffic census.
The roads they travel on and the small island they negotiate would not be considered by any transport service area on motorways.
Studley is the only bottleneck in the area. Alcester was the same until it had its bypass and, in my opinion, has regained its leisurely shopping centre without massive queues at major traffic lights.
Studley is being strangled by traffic. We need the bypass now.
