A WYTHALL farm business is helping to get one lady moving prior to a charity event in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Becketts Farm shop, in Alcester Road, is helping to train Rita Peachey, from Birmingham, who is due to take part in the Ladies Driving Challenge at Long Marsden in October.
The event will see Rita, who has had cancer herself, driving a whole host of unusual vehicles, including plant and farm machinery - which is where Becketts came in.
Last week, Rita was allowed to try her hand at driving a JCB as well as other farm vehicles thanks to staff at the farm.
Becketts general manager Ian Comer said: "We thought we would help Rita out to make sure she's familiar with the vehicles before she does the challenge.
"We didn't mind at all."
