Wythall youngsters were treated to a wild show last week when they were paid a visit from Birmingham Nature Centre.
John Needle, from the centre, was at the village library and brought with him some friendly rats among other animals.
The library, in May Lane, is hosting a number of activities throughout the summer to keep children busy.
