SPA police are helping residents protect their property this Saturday in a bid to crack down on the number of thefts from sheds and garages.
Officers will be stationed at Machins, in Droitwich High Street, promoting property marking for tools and equipment.
Between 9am and 4pm information, advice and tamper-proof labels will be available to anyone who wants to deter thieves.
Spa beat manager PC Alun Jones said: "Twenty-six sheds, garages and outbuildings have been broken into and property stolen in the last month.
"We take great care of securing houses but forget the value of contents in our sheds."
He added: "It's time gardeners and DIY enthusiasts fought back against the thief."
