THE EVENING News says authorities in the two counties will accommodate 167 households of asylum seekers between them.
Why the coyness as to the number and detail of those arriving by use of the deceptive euphemism "households?"
One asylum seeker "household" north of Worcester comprises 18 individuals.
Councillor David Bannister is reported as saying "it's helpful to keep sight of the numbers we are talking about".
Why no accurate information as to the actual numbers, which we would all find "helpful" to keep sight of each month?
