A RACIST attack, which happened in Bromsgrove, is still being investigated by town police.
The incident happened in the early hours of last Friday as the victim, who is Asian, walked home with his friend after a night clubbing.
A gang of five men and one woman, walking in the same direction, near the Greyhound Pub, in Worcester Road, began kicking and hurling racist insults at the man.
He was sent to Redditch's Alexandra Hospital, where he had stitches and was treated for bruising before being released.
Sgt Jerry Reakes-Williams, of Bromsgrove Police, said: "We are determined to stamp out racism in every form.
"This was distressing for the victim and his friend and I would appeal for anyone who witnessed this to come forward."
