BANK Holiday battles of a different kind will be taking place at an award-winning Bromsgrove museum this weekend.
Visitors to Avoncroft Museum, in Stoke Heath, can find out what life was like for those in battle when members of Frasiers Highlanders put on Redcoat and Jacobite drill displays and skirmishes on Sunday and Monday.
And they will be turning the Merchant's House into an 18th century tavern complete with "show and tell" sessions about muskets.
You can also meet the Time Traveller and find out more about life during the English Civil War and try on some armour.
On Sunday and Monday you will also have the chance to try your hand at archery.
The fun runs from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
