A THIRD man appeared before Kidderminster magistrates yesterday on a charge relating to the attempted post office robbery at Wolverley in June.

Martin Williams, 26, of Lea Bank Road, Dudley Wood, is accused of conspiring with others to commit robberies in Worcestershire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

He did not ask for bail and was remanded in custody to be back in court on September 20

Two other men accused of taking part in the Wolverley attempted robbery will also face charges of conspiracy to rob in the West Midlands area when they appear at crown court.

Kidderminster magistrates were not given details of the new allegations when the men appeared on remand.

Wayne Davies, 25, of Himley Road, Dudley, and Neal Frost, 32, of Brook Street, Wall Heath, did not ask for bail and were remanded in custody until September 15.

They are charged with attempting to rob postmaster Richard Watkins at Wolverley on June 20 and with illegal possession of a sawn-off shotgun.
