POLICE are trying to trace a man who offered sweets to a 10-year-old girl in Stourport at the weekend.
She was cycling along Resolution Way at about 4.40pm on Sunday when she encountered the man, who drove a "muddy reddy brown car" with rust patches - thought to be a G-registered Cavalier saloon.
He is described as a white male, about 40, with brown hair and a bald patch, wearing a shirt and blue jeans.
Police said he did not ask the girl to get into the car or make any inappropriate comments.
Spokesman PC Adrian Hewitt said: "It sounds as though it could have been completely innocent but we need to talk to the man."
