RAIDERS caused damage totalling thousands of pounds when they ran riot in a car workshop in Kidderminster.
They broke into the Car Body Workshop in Lisle Avenue by cutting a hole in the roof and entering the workshop area through an office.
A police spokesman said a Ford Fiesta was used to ram the roller shutter door open before the burglars drove away a Rolls Royce which was found abandoned at the end of Lisle Avenue.
A total of £3,550 damage was caused to the Fiesta - which was discovered halfway through the roller shutter door with its engine running by a passer-by at 9.40pm on Saturday - and three other cars in the workshop.
The burglars escaped with a pressure washer and tools valued at a figure of £3,300.
