A SECURITY guard on his way home from a late shift was more than twice the alcohol limit when he was in a minor accident near his Stourport home.
Samuel Milwain, 35, of Summerfield Road, had been working until 10pm and went for a drink before going home, his solicitor, Gary Harper, told Kidderminster magistrates.
He had been surprised by the high reading on the breath analysis.
Milwain was banned for two years and fined £240, with £80 costs. He admitted driving with a breath alcohol reading of 97, against the limit of 35.
