COUNCILLOR Oborski should not be proud of the district council's planning committee achievements with regard to the Warstone House development at Bewdley because part of the plans presented to the final meeting, on which a vote was taken, were incorrect.
I refer to the revised south-facing profile for the block of flats.
Anyone taking time to look at this could see for themselves. Even the planning office was unaware of this until I pointed it out to them.
The developers, to date, have still not supplied the correct drawings to the planners, so we are still uncertain what we will face at the back of our property.
How can this be - that a decision is taken to proceed when it is uncertain what the finished buildings will be?
How serious is that?
It is almost like a decision made by Government -- it may not be in everyone's best interests, but they implement it regardless.
What is the good of objections, if these are to be ignored?
It is as though going through the motions is enough.
