SIR Alex Ferguson has given the thumbs up to Jan Molby after Kidderminster Harriers were awarded the Nationwide League's 'Performance of the Week' award.
The Manchester United manager was part of a panel which decided on the award along with Howard Wilkinson, Graham Taylor, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry.
The famous five gave the award to Molby's Harriers after their opening day 2-0 win over Torquay United at Aggborough.
Molby, who won the Nationwide Conference manager of the year award last season, was delighted by the latest accolade to come his way.
He said: "It is always very satisfying when an achievement is recognised by other people, especially when they are as distinguished as the panel who made this decision.
"It was a big day for the club and we could not have asked for more than to be at home for our first game in Division Three.
"It was a good day for us and to be honest the entire day went perfectly as far as we were concerned."
