A FAMILY was treated for smoke inhalation after their television exploded in the early hours of Saturday morning in Kidderminster.
Fire crews from Stourport and Kidderminster were called to the blaze, which began on the ground floor of a council house at Princess Way in Stourport at about 12.50am.
The television was destroyed by the fire while the rest of the house was "severely smoke damaged", according to firefighters.
The family left hospital after a precautionary check.
