OVER NORTON HISTORY GROUP: The programme of speakers for the 2000/2001 season has been confirmed. The programme kicks off on September 28 with Craig Blackwell, talking about the 'Landscape and Ecology of Oxfordshire'. On October 26 David Eddershaw's subject will be 'Hook Norton Brewery', then Peter Tyrell gives an introduction tom family trees on November 23, with his subject of 'Genealogy for Beginners'. After the Christmas festivities with the Silver Band on December 14, the programme continues with Alan Watkins on January 25 talking about 'Chipping Norton Photographers', Richard Chamber and the 'Identification of Pottery Finds' on February 22 and Dorothy Wise on 'William Morris on March 22. The final speaker for the season will be Carol Anderson on April 26 on the subject of 'The Oxfordshire Museum. Annual subscriptions for the group are £5, or visitors can attend meetings for £1.
