A BIG chocolate cake helped guests at a Mad Hatter's Tea party in a Stratford hotel make £500 for the NSPCC.
The party saw invited guests from across south Warwickshire get into the Alice in Wonderland-themed fun at the Billesley Manor Hotel last Thursday.
Hotel staff made the cake, which was raffled off at the event that had to be moved inside at the last minute because of inclement weather - although no spirits were dampened. NSPCC regional campaigns manager, Valentine Morby, said she was thrilled with the support from the hotel.
