Hanley Ladies 30, Evesham 53
EVESHAM won their last Summer League match to end another successful season.
The Evesham side who won Division Six last season won by such a margin that they were promoted straight into Division Four have only lost six games and are understood to have finished fourth but await confirmation.
Things didn't go quite as smoothly as they would have liked with captain Cheryl Jennings forced to come out of defence and play centre due to an unwell Shelley Middleton who dropped back to goalkeeper.
An injured Caroline Owens was also forced into action but, despite the shift in positions, the versatility of the squad pulled them through.
Shelley Middleton was named player of the match.
