THE Malvern Hills will be swamped by ramblers next month during a charity walk.
The Malvern route is one of 21 nationwide in the Guide Dogs Top Walks Challenge 2000.
Walking enthusiasts have the chance to use their pastime to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind on Sunday, September 10.
There is a choice of two routes, with five and 10 mile strolls on offer.
Last year's event attracted more than 1,300 walkers nationwide, raking in £70,000 for the cause and organisers hope to double that figure this year.
The money raised will be spent on increasing the number of guide dogs and broadening the range of mobility services for the blind and partially-sighted.
"Whichever walk they choose, participants will be rewarded with breathtaking views, fascinating flora and fauna, and the sense of satisfaction that comes from helping one of Britain's best-loved charities," said Guide Dogs Events manager Nick Chetwood.
