MALVERN Girls' College was the top of the class after securing a 99 per cent GCSE A* to C pass rate.
And a third of the talented students bagged A*, with three-quarters recording A* to A.
"We are very proud of our girls who have achieved such wonderful results," said headmistress Philippa Leggate.
"They have worked very hard for these exams but in keeping with national trends have demonstrated the obvious academic benefits of a single sex school."
