WORCESTER NOMADS V DUDLEY BOROUGH

Worcester Nomads took cricket into the old County of Worcestershire when two of its junior teams entertained the Dudley Borough teams for the first time.

While the under 13 team was defeated easily by Dudley the under 15's enjoyed a close match on the Bransford senior square. James Watkins, who has again reached a thousand runs for the season scored an excellent century and he was given good support by Ollie Griffiths who has also started to make a mark in the senior elevens. William Smith with 3 for 12 and Kevin Rees with 2 for 24 proved too accurate for the later Dudley batting.
