THERE is one worrying thought resulting from G R Jones' personal attack on Ms Knittel (You Say, Evening News, August 17).
Her views are based around animals being treated with respect. From these columns it can be seen that she always supports her arguments with facts.
Supported arguments should be the very basis for discussion in this newspaper, but G R Jones, who has often expressed his pro-hunting views, makes no attempt to support his argument, merely launching into a factually incorrect (live exporting of sheep is not banned) diatribe against someone who, whether you agree with her or not, always justifies her opinions.
Perhaps G R Jones should concentrate on substantiating his opinions.
Or perhaps he cannot support his views by facts?
C R ELLIOTT,
Worcester.
