A GROUP of young film-makers from the Malvern area are showing their first film in the town's cinema next Saturday, September 2.
Headed Note Paper shot its short film, Confessions of a Vauxhall Chevette, in Malvern and Ledbury during the summer.
It tells the story of the car and its successive owners from 1978 up to the present day.
And its makers, mostly students from the Malvern area, hope their achievement will inspire other young people with ideas to get busy and create their own work.
The group hopes the screening will show other people involved in film what the area can offer in terms of contacts.
"We want to invite as many people who are interested in film as possible," said Headed Note Paper cofounder Tom Salmon, who was also the film's producer and co-writer.
The screening is at 6pm.
