ORGANISERS of the Malvern and District Show will be meeting next month to decide whether to take the event into its third year.
The signs are good after a very successful event held on Sunday, August 20, at the Three Counties Showground.
For the second year running, the event benefited from very good weather and strong support for its competitive classes in horse, sheep and goat sections.
Mary Roberts, secretary of the horse section, said there was also some benefit to spectator numbers from the neighbouring Kit-Car Show at the Three Counties.
The event replaces the suspended Madresfield Show and incorporates the Clevelode Horse Show, but organisers will take their time in deciding on a third year, the decision coming at a meeting early next month.
"We are quite optimistic," said Mrs Roberts, "We had a lovely show, beautiful weather, a very relaxed atmosphere, absolutely perfect.
"We are very pleased and we had some wonderful helpers at the end, they helped clear up."
