MALVERN Light Opera Society is looking for enthusiastic performers to take part in its latest production, The Pajama Game.
The show isn't being staged, at Malvern Festival Theatre, until March next year, but the first rehearsal is approaching, and the company wants as many singers and dancers to come along as possible.
Society secretary, Glynis Smith, said: "People who have taken part in the show before say it's great fun.
"The producer is Paul Jones, a talented choreographer and director, who did our very successful last production of Oklahoma."
Premiered on Broadway in 1954, the show has music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross and includes such numbers as Steam Heat, Once a Year Day, Hey There and Hernando's Hideaway.
It tells the story of the workers at the Sleeptite Pajama Factory, and their efforts to wrest a seven-and-a-half cent pay rise from their boss.
The rehearsal is on Wednesday, September 6, at 7.30pm, at Malvern Hills College, Albert Road North.
