WESTFIELDS gave Malvern Town a surprise by beating them 3-1 in the Banks's Brewery League Premier Division at Rotherwas yesterday.
The home side went behind on 20 minutes when Darren Wade scored with a header after the home side failed to clear a cross.
But Westfields were a transformed side after the break with Derek Craddock scoring an equaliser on the hour.
John Hutton then scored a 35-yard screamer to give the home side the lead six minutes later.
Eight minutes from time Paul Price's through ball sent Sam Edwards away to beat advancing 'keeper Mark King and complete the scoring.
On Saturday Westfields surrendered the lead twice to draw 2-2 at home to Bustleholme, despite goals from Kevin Gwillim and Mark Hibbard.
Malvern crashed 5-1 at home to Darlaston despite taking an early lead through Simon Judge. Simon Archer grabbed a hat-trick for the visitors.
