WORCESTER employers are to be offered extra help filing their vacancies this year thanks to a partnership between the Employment Service, CrownGate and Wyvern FM.
JobCentre staff will be in the shopping centre's Friary Square from Monday, September 11 to Saturday, September 30, and again between Monday and Saturday, November 6 and 11.
The Jobsfair is to run from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm and will provide details of the available vacancies.
Around 40 employers will be recruiting at the fair, offering full and part-time opportunities.
Extra sessions are scheduled for Hereford Town Hall on Wednesday, September 30 and Kidderminster's Rowland Hill Centre on Tuesday, September 12, and Friday and Saturday, September 15 and 16.
Another is due to be staged at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch on Thursday and Friday, October 5 and 6.
"We're aiming to fill more than 1,000 vacancies in the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire," said JobCentre manager Caroline Breese.
"By holding the events in the local shopping centre, we hope to prompt people to apply who perhaps would not have thought about looking for work through the JobCentre.
"We hope to attract a wide variety of jobseekers at a time when employers traditionally find it difficult to fill all the vacancies they have on offer."
