Loughborough Athletic (0) 1 Fairfield (2) 4
AFTER Villa's fine 6-1 win over Worcester-based side County Sports, when Junior McKeon scored four and Andy Hibbert and Ian Brown each netted one, they recorded another good away win over Loughborough.
From the kick off, the visitors took control in this Midland Combination Division One match.
They went close on several occasions and in the 28th minute went ahead when last year's top scorer, Waine Devey, pounced on a defensive error and beat keeper Stuart Jackson from close range.
In the 40th minute, Devey again rifled in shot from the edge of the area which easily beat Jackson.
Four minutes after the break, the home side pulled a goal back when Bryan Foweather scored from close range.
Two minutes later, Villa restored their two-goal advantage when Gary Bradley scored from 12 yards following a Matt Johal corner.
McKeon put the game beyond Loughborough in the 70th minute when he scored a close range header to take his goal tally to six from three games.
