MORE than 30 years old, Harlequins' membership and mapped areas are bounded in the west by Leominster, in the north by Walsall and Dudley, in the south by Malvern and the M42 in the east.
It has access to badge and championship terrain in the Wyre Forest and hills in south Shropshire/north Herefordshire.
The club has enjoyed plenty of success at individual and team level. In the first year of the UK Relay League in 1998, it finished eighth - the best performance by a Midlands club - and had three British champions last year - club coach Andy Hemsted, Hannah Wooton and Robert Farrington.
It also has a wealth of experience in mapping, planning and organising events. It normally holds two badge events each year, several colour coded and 'come and try it' events and night street events in winter.
Andy leads the fortnightly training sessions on alternate Thursday nights and there are low key training events in the summer.
The Christmas dinner is combined with the county championships. No-one ever wins the title two years running - if you win you plan or organise the following year's race.
