THE closure of the Dolphin Centre's sports hall is not expected to affect an in-form club.
Members of Dolphin Badminton Club are confident after their best ever season.
The majority of the teams gained promotion in the Worcestershire Badminton Association League and the players are eagerly looking forward to the new season.
They play at the Dolphin Centre, in Bromsgrove, which was hit by fire three weeks ago.
It was closed indefinitely for repairs but should be up and running in time for Sunday which sees the start of the club nights.
Chairman Darryl Russell said: "We are looking for a repeat of last year's success - especially our women who were promoted to the premier division after narrowly missing out two years on the trot.
"The centre's staff have been great and kept us informed of developments which has allowed us to focus on the new season."
Things are looking good for the town club because they are hopeful of acquiring the services of three ex-county players.
If you fancy trying your hand at the sport, you can turn up at the School Drive centre between 6.30pm and 9.30pm on Sundays or call (01527) 579305, 500437 or 579375.
