BROMSGROVE Rovers Reserves 1 Boldmere 2. Rovers produced a good performance against a well organised Boldmere side but two lapses of judgement cost them the game.
Martin Townsend opened the scoring for the home side with a well taken goal 25 yards out after twice coming close.
Boldmere's long ball tactics caused Rovers problems in the first half but good defending from the Pincher brothers, Pete Rose and new signing Richard Cameron left Rovers on top.
Early in the second half, defender Richard Pincher was sent off for dissent and this changed the game.
Boldmere capitalised and scored twice after quick breaks down Rovers' left.
