STEWART HADLEY: HOTSHOT Stewart Hadley believes full-time training is the key to his early season form after destroying Halifax with two sharp goals on Saturday.
Hadley struck twice in two minutes as Harriers won 2-1, taking his tally for the season to four.
He said: "Full-time training sharpens you up. You get up every morning and train instead of coming in to training on the night after working during the day.
"Now I just concentrate on the football and it's great. I'm reaping the rewards."
Hadley paid tribute to Andy Ducros who set up both his goals against Halifax.
"For the second goal it was a great pass from Ducros and luckily I've managed to follow up my volley from the rebound."
The former Mansfield Town striker said he was still managing to fit in a bit of sleep in between matches despite the birth of his two-week-old baby boy.
"He's keeping me up in the nights but I'm managing to get my sleep in the afternoons!"
IAN Foster's first league goal on Monday at Brighton helped to banish one of the worst memories of his career.
The striker was in the Hereford United side relegated to the Conference by the Seagulls three years ago but exacted some personal revenge with a well-taken goal at Withdean.
Foster is being played in the left midfield slot at present but is just happy to be in the team.
He said: "I'm not left footed and I don't like playing in midfield but I like playing. I'm never going to knock on the gaffer's door and say I don't want to play so you just have to give it 100 per cent."
And he was delighted with his goal which got him off the mark for the season.
He added: "I was thinking 'when am I going to get off the mark?, so it's lovely to score.
"I've put my head down and just struck it and luckily its gone in.
"It's a great result. We played the same formation at Walsall and it's worked again."
