ENGLAND were skittled out for a paltry 112 as 17 wickets tumbled on the first day of the third and deciding Under-19 Test against Sri Lanka at Worcester.
The tourists were reduced to six for four in reply although they had recovered to 124-7 by the close thanks to 49 from Jehan Mubarak, who was caught at point just before stumps. They were all out this morning for 158.
Essex left-armer Justin Bishop took four of the wickets to fall to keep England in the hunt after a disastrous start to the day.
Seamer Akalanka Ganegama did the damage with the new ball for Sri Lanka, finishing with six for 43. Worcestershire's Kadeer Ali was dismissed without scoring.
All-rounder Chris Tremlett provided the main resistance for England, still there at the close on 39.
The three match series is currently tied at one game apiece.
