MOTORCYCLE racer Andy Tinsley had wet and dry races and a spectacular crash at Cadwell Park in the British Championship series.
The Astwood Bank rider crashed on the "Mountain" during Sunday's Supersport qualifying practice.
The CBR machine just missed Andy as it cartwheeled past him.
Overnight repairs had it ready for the rain-drenched race on Monday, where Andy brought it home in 9th place ahead of 21 riders and at an average of 76.52 mph for the 17 slippery laps.
In the Superstock race, Andy finished 11th, beating 21 riders on his Fireblade and averaging 84.60 mph for the 16 laps.
He collected five points to stay in a shared sixth place in the championship.
With just three more rounds left this season, Tinsley is already having talks with his major sponsors about 2001.
His next race is at Mallory Park on September 17.
