Studley BKL 1, Feckenham 0
THIS was a good local football derby on Bank Holiday Monday, with Craig Gillett hitting what eventually turned out to be the winning goal on just two minutes.
His header from Trevor Whittingham's free kick gave BKL a great start to which they could well have increased, as Feckenham were forced to defend in depth throughout the first half.
They came back more after the interval and went close, looking for the equaliser.
BKL always looked likely to add a second but visiting keeper Shiels had an excellent game.

THE Bees endured a frustrating 90 minutes on Staurday unable to capitalise on Scott Crane's early strike after 10 minutes.
Huw Lewis equalised for Timbers on 25 minutes.
Further BKL efforts from Rowland, Powell and Grubb failed to increase the load before half time.
Seven minutes into the re-start, Crane provided Kevin Rowlands with a simple tap in but Timbers came back with Lewis hitting home his second from the penalty spot after Howard was impeded.
Timbers were then content to play out time while the Bees pounded away without any success.
Studley are at home to Cheslyn Hay on Saturday (ko 2.45pm).
Kings Heath 0, Studley BKL 0
As the scoreline suggests, this was a finely balanced affair last Wednesday.
Both sides strong in defence, whilst showing flair and creative ability in midfield and up front. Bees came close on several occasions, only to be thwarted by home keeper Hancocks, who produced a string of fine saves.
